Skidoo is out today!

Space Owl - Skidoo

Music Factory Records is proud to present “Skidoo” by Space Owl, featuring Ari Joshua, Bob Lovelace, John Ewing and David Appelbaum.

"Skidoo" by Space Owl is the laters composition from  Ari Joshua to be released as part of his mission to release 24 individual singles for 2024.  with additional contributions from Bob Lovelace, John Ewing (Johnny and The Moles), and David Appelbaum, the track is a fusion of 60’s funk and soul and  American rock influences. Released under Music Factory Records, this track showcases Space Owl's penchant for blending genres, drawing inspiration from musical icons like Hendrix, Phish, The Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, and the Grateful Dead while still maintaining a unique and original sound. Pulsating rhythms, intricate melodies,, "Skidoo" takes listeners on a cosmic journey through the realms of blues, rock, and soul music.

Prior to this release, Space Owl presented "Home," a masterful composition that flawlessly intertwines elements of rock, classical, and Irish influences. Additionally, "I Will Come To You" showcases the band's pop-rock sensibilities and dynamic key centers, while "Why Does Love Always Break Your Heart" serves as a poignant sequel to their, "Mountain Song” , which like “Flask” is another through composed song with sections reminiscent of Zappa or early Trey Anastasio vibes. The sheet music is available at www.arijoshua.com in the merch store for anyone daring enough to attempt to play it.

"Skidoo" is now available for streaming and download on all major platforms. Stay tuned for more captivating releases in 2024.
