Ari Joshua scores another beautiful composition with his contemporary jazz
by Biro Ramoniko

The excellent musician, guitarist and composer Ari Joshua returns with another masterpiece that will only enrich his catalogue, as well as adding a lot to music in its general context. Since he always delivers great, sophisticated compositions, but with a striking and comprehensive final result!

Once again alongside the no less masterful John Medeski on organ and Billy Martin on drums, Joshua distills an intricate composition, very well executed and which emphasizes the trio's harmony. All in an extremely tasteful animated video, living up to the name of the track.

In fact, the name is “Elephant Walk” and it simulates, in its rhythm, exactly a pachyderm in movement, which already shows the capacity of these guys. With classic guitars, with accurate timbre, the song features percussion that relies on cymbals and loose hi-hats, while the organ and piano excel in creating a well-established bed.

The rhythm focuses on more rooted jazz, which is already a standard feature of Joshua's sound, but the most attentive listener will once again notice the musician's descent into bossa nova, which even dictates the initial rhythm of the song. Another target hit!
